No doubt, the power that music has over people is undeniable. And, in many cases, it’s really tough to explain or quantify. The idea of making music has this magnetic and enigmatic quality about it that brings people together and helps them connect on a higher level. Singing or playing instruments together is like a form of conversation that doesn’t necessarily use words, but rather, sounds and emotionally-charged tones. I’ve noticed this ever since I started up a weekly jam session in my basement.

I re-did the basement a few months back, and I knew that I was doing it for a reason. I wanted to be able to host gatherings, and this was going to be the proper motivation to that end.
